And how did you come up with your username? Also, how is it pronounced?

@Aero: I wanted to make an Avatar forum that had something a little different to offer (i.e. joining nations, Pro-Bending), as well as some organization. Not to mention a place that isn't huge, so it can feel more like, I hope, a family when people are here. 

@Cat: Basically like Haa-naa-Saa-koo-yaa. That's the best way I can explain it. It's Japanese pronunciation. 

Truthfully, I heard the name "Sakuya" when I was younger and watched Tenchi in Tokyo and I really liked the name. Apparently it isn't a "real" name or is very uncommon. It seems to have various meanings, such as "last night". But I knew that couldn't be the only meaning. Especially since Sakuyamon exists in season 3 of Digimon. So, I looked it up. Sakuyamon was based on, apparently, a princess. In Japanese it is "Konohanasakuya"; literally: "this flower Sakuya" (as I currently understand it). I omitted "Kono" because A) it would make the name too long and B) "kono" means "this".

That's interesting about your username. I did wonder if it was about Konohanasakuya. Only reason that crossed my mind is because I'm currently playing Persona 4 and one of the main characters Persona's name is Konohanasakuya.
