| There was a win for the LGBT community Wednesday. No, two wins. One being, same-sex marriage will soon be legal in California again and that federal rights will be given to married same-sex couples in states that legally recognize same-sex marriage.
And naturally, here at WLL, we support and celebrate this historical win for the LGBT community! So, discuss your happiness, discuss your support, etc. here! |

| I'm really happy for the already married couples to be recognized in the states they lived in. Now they get the benefits from marriage which can help their children if they have any. <3 |

| i'm super stoked that they're actually realizing it's unconstitutional and just plain wrong to deny the rights of people who love each other the happiness of marriage (debatable though lol).
i'm really excited that their marriages will be recognized in states that recognize it! it's a good step in the right direction. |

| I'm really happy for this beautiful step forward! All that has to be done next is make same-sex marriage a federal law compared to state by state. That probably won't be for awhile, but we're getting a nice head start! |

Yeah I'm waiting for that to happen, too. I think the idea surfaced, as in people wanted it to happen while others "feared" that it would happen, but the Supreme Court didn't impose that. |

| i think it's a positive sign that while the government and court are taking BABY steps, they are at least taking steps in the right direction! and with this, it will hopefully lay the groundwork for more advancements in the near future. |
