Hello, my name is Chmia. I started watching Avatar: The Last Airbender several years after it first premiered. I was pleasantly surprised at the thought and detail given to the story and characterization, because I had honestly expected much less from Nickelodeon. I do wish Nickelodeon produced more cartoon shows with a well-developed plot and characters.

I honestly adore the relationship and dynamics of the main cast from the original, so it is difficult for me to choose a favorite character. If I were forced to choose... most likely Toph.

I'm also very interested in reading, video games, and television shows (including anime) from the 1990s. I'm a graduate student studying archaeology and I'm also a competitive archer (and coach). That's me in a nutshell.

We differ in that I was on the Avatar train not long after the series started. Loved it ever since. <3

Then we become similar in, I really like Toph too. She's great. I love that she's such a strong character and uses her "disability" (if you can even call it that) as a strength rather than letting it get her down. I also love Sokka.

Hell, I love that all the character in the series are actually strong women pretty much.
